Every jar of Grameya Bilona A2 Ghee begins with fresh A2 milk sourced from indigenous Indian cows. The milk is naturally cultured into curd, hand-churned using the traditional Bilona method, and slow-cooked over a gentle flame to create pure, aromatic ghee. No shortcuts, no cream separation just the timeless process our grandparents trusted.
Why choose Bilona Ghee over regular ghee?
Most commercial ghee is made directly from cream for faster production. Grameya follows the traditional Bilona process, where butter is extracted from curd before being slowly simmered. This time-honoured method creates a richer aroma, naturally grainy texture, and authentic flavour that reflects India's culinary heritage.
Where does your milk come from?
We source our milk from carefully selected farms where indigenous cows are raised with care and ethical farming practices. Every batch is produced in limited quantities to maintain the purity, consistency, and quality that Grameya stands for.
Is your ghee 100% pure?
Absolutely. Grameya Bilona A2 Ghee contains only one ingredient—pure Bilona A2 Ghee. It is free from preservatives, artificial flavours, colours, additives, and chemicals. What you receive is exactly what nature intended.
Why does the colour and texture vary between batches?
Nature isn't manufactured—and neither is our ghee. The colour of pure ghee naturally changes with the cows' seasonal diet, while its texture may become grainy in winter or liquid during summer. These natural variations are a hallmark of authentic, traditionally crafted ghee.
How should I store my ghee?
Keep the jar tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon. Refrigeration isn't necessary, as pure ghee naturally has an excellent shelf life.
How long will my ghee stay fresh?
Our Bilona A2 Ghee stays fresh for up to 12 months when stored properly. Since it's free from preservatives, proper storage helps preserve its natural aroma, flavour, and quality.
